Classifications correspond to the statistical characteristics used to classify the units of analysis and represent the dimensions of analysis according to which the table's object is classified.

The folder Classifications contains the hierarchy of classifications that can be selected, that is corresponding to statistical tables (and hence also objects) available in the system. During the selection process the list is updated to be maintained consistent with the selections already made. The folder is disabled when a multiple selection of objects is performed.

The symbol img3c near the name of a classification denotes a selectable (by mouse click) classification. A selectable classification may or not have 'children', i.e. classifications more specific than the classification itself. A folder symbol near the name of a classification denotes instead a container of other classifications and cannot be selected. A folder classification may contain more specific folder and/or selectable classifications.

Clicking on the symbol img2c the 'children' of a (container or selectable) classification can be displayed.
