GDP for the period 2005 - 2010

Dear Sir or Madam,

we inform you that on our website you can find the latest publications in the field of social welfare and national accounts.
Department of National Accounts Statistics Agency published a month in December 2011. year:
Bulletin "Gross domestic product in BiH"
The bulletin Gross domestic product is published:
a) The results of calculation of GDP using the production approach BiH for the period since 2005. by 2010.
b) The results of calculation of GDP using the income approach to BiH for the period since 2005. by 2010.
c) The results of calculation of GDP for BiH application rashodnog access for the period since 2005. by 2010.
Estimates of GDP, according to the methodology of SNA / ESA can be produced using three different approaches (production, expenditure and income), and each of these shows a different view of the economic picture. Though in theory, measurement of GDP using different approaches needed to coincide, in practice the differences arise due to differences in data sources and methods used. In the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the official GDP figures are based on the production approach.
GDP calculated by production approach at current prices, was estimated in the amount of 24,584 million in 2010. year with a nominal growth of 2.2% compared to 2009. year. Excluding the impact of price GDP recorded a real growth of 0.7%.
Gross domestic product per capita in 2010. 6397 amounted to KM, which is 3271 euros, or $ 4,331.
GDP by expenditure approach has been estimated for 2010. in the amount of 27,954 million KM, which represents a nominal increase of 0.21% compared to 2009, and if you exclude the impact of price GDP recorded a real growth of 1.01%.

It is important to note that the expenditure approach to GDP was 13.7% above the estimated GDP production approach.

Gross fixed capital formation of legal entities in 2010.god. Total investments in new fixed assets in 2010. amounted to 3843 million in comparison to 2009. year, representing a decrease of 9.73%.
From the total amount of investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010. year to the Federation of BiH applies 64.79%, 34.10% Serbian Republic and the Brcko District of 1.11%.

POTPISAN MEMORANDUM O RAZUMIJEVANJU IZMEĐU AGENCIJE ZA STATISTIKU BOSNE I HERCEGOVINE I DRŽAVNE REGULATORNE KOMISIJE ZA ELEKTRIČNU ENERGIJU

Memorandumom o razumijevanju kojeg su 19. aprila 2011. godine u Tuzli potpisali Mirsad Salkić, predsjedavajući Državne regulatorne komisije za električnu energiju i Zdenko Milinović, direktor Agencije za statistiku Bosne i Hercegovine, uspostavljen je okvir njihovog budućeg partnerstva u području za koje su obje institucije zainteresovane – u prikupljanju i jačanju kvaliteta i pouzdanosti statističkih podataka u oblasti statistike energije.

Ustanovljenim partnerstvom, Agencija za statistiku BiH i Državna regulatorna komisija za električnu energiju izražavaju zainteresovanost za razvijanjem i struktuiranjem saradnje u područjima od zajedničkog interesa, čime će ubrzati proces harmonizacije službene statistike BiH i statistike zemalja EU i doprinijeti približavanju Bosne i Hercegovine evropskim integracijama.
